We had our engagement pictures taken a couple weeks ago, and they came out so sweet I just had to post one! We went to Memory Grove while the leaves were still on the trees, and I swear every couple, family, and sorority had the same idea. It was so packed, but the best part was there were approximately 450 dogs, one of which crashed some of our pictures, we weren’t even a little mad.
It started snowing on my walk to work this morning, I was so thrilled, but not dressed warm enough for the occasion. I can already tell it’s going to be a beautiful winter, but oh I’ve so enjoyed this autumn. Just look at those colors! It’s slow at work today so I’ve been knitting and watching the flurries outside, planning dinners for this week. Is it just me that loves when running out of groceries perfectly aligns with getting my paycheck? Sam and I have always been old souls and home bodies, but I feel like the adulting highs are real lately. Finishing all the laundry, having coupons that actually apply towards things we typically buy, walking past the kitchen and seeing not a single dish in the sink, crawling into a freshly made bed, lighting a new candle for the first time.
Sam has work tonight, so I’m making homemade chicken noodle soup and crescent rolls to have together when he comes home. My momsy suggested a new show on Netflix called Alias Grace, so I’m going to set aside some time to put on a face mask and binge a little. Hope you’re having a wonderful week!
