October Beauty Favorites.

A little known fact about me is that I love beauty products. Every couple of days my best friend and I will let each other know what products we’re trying and like, or hate. We can spend hours meandering around Ulta and Sephora, it’s one of our favorite thing to do when we get together. I love reading about what products people enjoy, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites this season!

L’Oréal Colour Riche Lipstick in Spiced Cider- I’d describe this color as a toasted red, it’s perfect for fall, and the most wearable, every day red lipstick I’ve ever owned. Plus the texture is really soft, I only started wearing lipstick regularly when I found L’Oreal colors I liked because most lipsticks dry out my lips, but not these!

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector- I have hereditary dark circles and this has been the only product I’ve found that makes a real difference. It’s a salmon color, and can look very light at first, especially if you have an olive complexion like me, but the key is to blend well.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray- This one of my favorite skincare products year round because it’s so light and moisturizing, and I find myself using it more this time of year since the air is a lot more dry. Plus the rosewater and aloe smells so good.

Vinylux Weekly Top Coat- I tried a new nail salon a couple months ago and they used this top coat, my polish lasted ten days before I saw any sign of a chip, which is a miracle because I usually mess up my nails within minutes of doing them. I picked it up at Ulta not long ago and highly recommend it.

Maui Moisture Heal and Hydrate Shea Butter- I have naturally wavy, thick hair and I’ve noticed a lot of deep conditioners tend to stick to my hair and take several times shampooing to get it all out, but I really enjoy this one because it’s super moisturizing, but washes out of my hair easily.

Dahlia Noir by Givenchy- I’m really, really picky when it comes to perfumes because they have a tendency to give me headaches, but this one is great for date night. Although it’s a little “dark” for daytime, it’s soft and feminine without being too sweet.

There you have it folks, my current faves! If you have any products you love, let me know! I’d love to try them out.
